Fiction with a critical history

Nimaj’s announcement, reproduced by Honaronline in Mordad 1398, names Rabihavi among the 48 story contributors to Daricheh-ye Jonubi. Kourosh Asadi and Gholamreza Rezaei assembled the volume and discuss the stories in turn. Its introductory history considers the development of Iranian short fiction and the place of Khuzestan within it. Source 1

Their introduction also questions the usefulness of assigning stories to a regional school too quickly. The collective setting offers a way to read Rabihavi beside other writers of the south, while attending to the differences between their works. Source 1

The contribution and the listed printing

The retained contents reference names Rabihavi’s Sorsoreh, indexed here as Slide. The original book’s contents page and complete contribution have not been inspected, so a textual match with the separately archived Slide fragment is not asserted. Source 2

The contents reference gives Nimaj, Tehran and first printing 1398. A retailer likewise lists first printing, a printing date of 1398/03/13 in the Iranian calendar, 708 pages, paperback and ISBN 9786003674547. These listing fields remain separate from an inspected original colophon. The dated announcement independently establishes circulation in 2019. Source 2 · Source 3 · Source 1
