A different historical perspective

Reviewing Maryam Naseri’s Domino in December 2025, Khalili distinguishes the novel’s historical perspective from those of earlier Iranian war writers. She specifically recognises Rabihavi’s critical approach to that history, while arguing that Naseri’s work develops a viewpoint of its own. The reference concerns a literary comparison, rather than a separate review of one Rabihavi book. Source 1

Witness and the literature of war

Her February 2026 review of Zakarya Hashemi’s Open Eye and Open Ear places that account beside Ahmad Mahmoud’s The Scorched Earth and Rabihavi’s critical writing about war. She then broadens the comparison to international antiwar literature. The passage names Rabihavi’s body of work without selecting an individual title or claiming that all these books tell the same story. Source 2
