The book being discussed

Ali Shoroughi reviews Arash Azarpanah’s Ruzi ke Ketab-baz Shodam, published by Sales. He follows its movement from recollections of childhood and discovering the city to reading, collecting books and becoming a writer. The review concerns Azarpanah’s composite book, rather than a newly published Rabihavi novel. Source 1

An earlier unsigned IBNA publication report, dated 29 December 2025, separately describes the book’s three sections: memoirs, interviews and essays. It explicitly names Rabihavi among the eight interviewees. That report corroborates the book-contained conversation, while Shoroughi’s later review supplies an individual critical reading; neither article delivers the full Rabihavi interview. Source 2

The second part contains interviews with eight contemporary writers, including Rabihavi. Shoroughi identifies attention to form and language as a common thread, with questions about writing continuing from the autobiographical section. The list also names Abutorab Khosravi, Abbas Abdi, Monireddin Beirouti, Amir Hassan Cheheltan, Shahriar Mandanipour, Kourosh Asadi and Ebrahim Golestan. Source 1
