The work and its context

In a 3 May 2020 interview, Rabihavi describes adapting a text originally written for theatre after pandemic restrictions changed the conditions of performance. Sousan Farrokhnia reads the text. Rabihavi identifies Ethan Jahan as editor and explains that his work also included image choices, visual ideas and production collaboration. Source 45

The fictional nurse goes out to help an injured protester and becomes a victim. A mother’s recollection makes the absent character present, while the writing deliberately leaves the nurse’s gender unspecified. The interview connects the work to the November 2019 protests and the pandemic; it does not establish a runtime, exact first-release day or sole directing credit. Source 45
