The demands and the response

The statement describes people taking to the streets under economic and political pressure. Its support extends to civil, social and economic demands, while condemning violence, arrests and repression. The signatories speak as writers, musicians, filmmakers, researchers and artists who stand beside people making those demands. Source 1

The appeal also objects to the interruption of internet and telephone communication. Its description of the situation belongs to the protests of that period; the report does not establish a continuing communications restriction or a current casualty figure. Source 1

A published name in a collective document

Rabihavi is numbered twenty-two in the retained signatory list. Tribune Zamaneh identifies IranWire as the source of the material and makes clear that user contributions do not represent Radio Zamaneh’s editorial position. The record preserves his endorsement without assigning him authorship of the appeal. Source 1
