Ghazi Rabihavi appears in the published endorsement list. No sole authorship or organisational office is attributed to him.
Original English editorial guide to retained collective material. Demands and allegations remain attributed to the document; Rabihavi’s recorded role is a listed endorsement.
The activities the statement defends
The Iranian Writers’ Association in Exile and PEN Iran in Exile issue the statement following the imprisonment of Reza Khandan Mahabadi, Baktash Abtin and Keyvan Bajan. The text objects to charges it connects with publishing the Association’s internal journal, preparing its history, issuing statements and attending memorials for Mohammad Mokhtari, Mohammad Jafar Pouyandeh and Ahmad Shamlu. Its appeal reaches beyond the three writers. It calls on writers’ organisations, human-rights bodies and the public to speak out, and demands cancellation of the sentences and release of political and ideological prisoners, dissidents and civil and trade-union activists. The accusations and the assessment of them are the collective statement’s account of that moment. Source 1
Issuing boards and endorsers
The original names the two organisations’ issuing boards before listing supporters. Rabihavi appears among the endorsers, described as a writer and director, and does not appear on those board lists. The statement is dated 20 October; Kayhan London published it on 21 October. Republishing it elsewhere does not establish additional office, authorship or a separate campaign. Source 1
