The edition as an object
The Italian cover gives Rabihavi’s name and Le quattro stagioni iraniane room above a black-and-white photograph of a seated person. Broad white margins, a printed Harold Pinter endorsement and the Musicaos imprint form the rest of the composition. The person in the photograph is not identified here. Source 1
Musicaos credits the cover photograph to Kaveh Golestan. Its edition page identifies Benedetta Pati as editor and translator from English, with distribution beginning on 10 May 2024. These are the credits of this Italian publication, separate from the older Persian collection’s edition history. Source 2
The photograph before the cover
A June 2024 presentation notice connects the image with Golestan’s mid-1970s Shahr-e No reportage and the exhibition Archaeology of the Final Decade. That photographic history supplies context for the cover without making its subject a person from Rabihavi’s biography. Source 3
