Several generations at the microphone

Baang introduces a new Radio Shahrzad series bringing together Shahriar Mandanipour, Hossein Noushazar and Amin Ansari. Ansari and Mahnoush Rad are credited with production and presentation. The programme includes music, fiction and literary discussion. Source 1 · Source 2

The final book slot

Most of this first programme concerns Neda Kavousifar and Hossein Atashparvar. Rabihavi enters the closing new-books section through Gisu, presented around the newly released prisoner’s search for selfhood and feeling. The text then cues an extract in the author’s voice. Source 1 · Source 2

A genuine written programme

The journal published the programme text on 21 November 2020. Unlike a bare video-page description, it supplies substantial written programme material. Its audio cue, however, does not reproduce the Gisu passage; the standalone author-reading record provides a further listening path. Source 1 · Source 2

A later announcement, its own date

A separate Baang announcement is dated 12 January 2021 and advertises the programme from Tuesday 23 Dey / 12 January. It links this same programme text and the historical audio file. The announcement and the earlier text page are two dated publications; their metadata does not establish two programmes or the day the voices were recorded. Source 1 · Source 2

The literary company of the closing extract

The published programme begins with Neda Kavousifar’s The Myrtle Tree and opposing interpretations of one symbolic tree. It then introduces Hossein Atashparvar’s Tehran–Imam Reza Street, with its crowded departure scene and public language of martyrdom, followed by Nasim Khaksar’s response. These are separately credited writers and works. Their presence explains the programme’s wider conversation about storytelling before its final new-books slot turns to Rabihavi’s Gisu. Source 1
