The work and its context

Astragali Teatro’s listing for the 12 June 2024 presentation of Le quattro stagioni iraniane at Distilleria De Giorgi includes a screening of Fairy Lights. It describes the short film as filmed by Kaveh Golestan and realised with Rabihavi, drawing on a story included in the Italian collection. Those precise collaborative terms are preserved here. The organiser frames the film around women’s lives after religious oligarchy takes power. Its event date is not the film’s production year, and the listing does not name a sole director or provide a complete credit sheet. A Fairy Lights episode is also named in the 2022 Ceasefire announcement; the relationship between their versions is still unconfirmed. Source 41 · Source 43 · Source 44
