A French appearance

Zulma’s contents page places Les lampions in Apulée 8’s dossier on the Iranian movement Woman, Life, Freedom, coordinated by Laure Leroy. It names Rabihavi and credits Julie Duvigneau’s translation from Persian, beginning on printed page 79. INALCO’s publication record corroborates the credit and issue. Source 1 · Source 4

The annual volume Les Grandes Espérances was published on 18 May 2023, with 448 pages and ISBN 9791038701984. This is a contribution to a collective review, rather than a separate Rabihavi book. Source 2

At the beginning of the voice

In the translator’s partial preview, a woman prepares to leave while listening for a car. Her interrupted speech moves through memories of expulsion from home, precarious shelter and transactions with men. The sounds outside punctuate her efforts to make herself ready. This orientation concerns the inspected opening on printed pages 79–80; it does not describe the uninspected ending. Source 3
