The work
Original language: Persian
The book is connected to reporting on children working at the brick kilns around Abadan. In his 2024 Aasoo conversation, Rabihavi recalls working with photographer Manouchehr Deghati in 1358 and writing the story at the same time. His testimony gives the work a context without making its fictional child an identified reporting subject.
Rabihavi recalls writing the story while preparing a child-labour report with Manouchehr Deghati. This date concerns the writing and reporting, separately from the inspected printing.
